Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer (.Net Core - Angular)

Status: Full Time, Employed

Established over 15 years ago, New Media Learning Ltd provides the award-winning performance data solution 4Matrix to over 1200 secondary schools nationwide. We have ambitious plans, and we are determined to maintain our prominent status in this sector.

About the role

  • You’ll assist the development team in enhancing existing software packages and in the specification and development of new products
  • You'll be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including database design, implementing business logic and front-end design
  • You will assist the product support team as required, delivering high-quality technical support via phone, live chat and email when necessary
  • There will be opportunities to contribute to other areas of the business including exhibitions, events and marketing.


What you will need to succeed
We are ideally looking for a Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer with a minimum of 12 months commercial experience to join our core team in country surroundings in North Chelmsford, Essex, and who fits the following criteria in terms of skill base. Graduates with no experience will be considered with an equivalent degree in Computer Science.

Essential skills

  • Knowledge of using Asp.net Core to create secure consumable web APIs using C#
  • Strong front-end web development skills and experience, including HTML, CSS and Bootstrap
  • Strong knowledge of angular framework and Typescript


Desirable but not essential

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tool Git
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
  • Experience using Prime NG Angular components and/or the Metronic web template
  • SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Entity Framework
